It was revealed, yesterday, that the man variously described as a "depraved father" and "an incest monster", Josef Fritzl, the 73-year-old retired Austrian electrical engineer ,had holidayed in Thailand, specifically in Pattaya, with his lodger, Alfred Dubanovsky, on more than one occasion, while his daughter and their offspring languished in the cellar back home in Amstetten, Austria.
The London Paper comments" Fritzl was a sun-lover, taking trips to warm destinations to expose himself to as much sunlight as possible — despite never letting three of the seven children he fathered by his daughter see daylight. He began leaving his wife Rosemarie behind to go on "boys only" trips to Thailand in the 1980s, spending up to three weeks at a time on his exotic jaunts to a country known for its child-sex -trade."
Significantly, at least one of these Thai locations was Fun City. According to the Telegraph Newspaper, UK, "Fritzl also took several sex holidays to Thailand, once leaving them for nearly a month. He was filmed happily being given a back massage by a local woman on the beach at Pattaya." Fritzl's lodger had also apparently advised his "depraved" landlord that it was easy to obtain drugs in Thailand, to which Fritzl replied that they should think about the affect of such things on young children!
