Following an argument with his ex-wife early this morning, 14 March, Mr. Kak, a drug dealer and car thief, was shot dead in Sattahip, by an unknown assailant.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Padungsak Suekumnod, a Sattahip Police Inspector, received notification today, 14 March 2008, that Mr. Sompong Taptimthong aka Mr. Kak, (42) who lived at 81 /1 Soi Rai Chaimongkol (Sattahip – Sukhumvit 31) Moo. 3, Sattahip had been shot and was lying dead on Sukhumvit Road behind a new group of shops.
Responding to the report, Police Colonel Supatee Boonkrong, Sattahip Chief of Police and his team, accompanied by Rojanatam Satan of the Sattahip Rescue Team, rushed to the crime scene where they discovered the dead body of Mr. Sompong , wearing a black leather jacket and jeans, lying on his side. There was a bullet hole in his forehead from which his brains and blood were dripping onto the road.
Police also found a black bag, which had been dropped on the road near his body containing the ID cards of two Thai females: Ms Nootsara Ang-silah (20) and Mrs kreah-fah KeunThai (25). As a result, the police then went to find Miss Nootsara Ang-silah, who had been Mr. Sompong's ex-partner, to see if she could shed any light on murder of her ex-husband.
